Emily joined us in 2010 after teaching a year at Denison Middle School where she taught Language Arts. She previously taught Language Arts and ESOL (English to Speakers of Other Languages) at Poinciana High School and at Miami-Dade’s Dr. Michael Krop Sr. High School. She also taught second and third graders for three years in Massachusetts, her home state, before moving to Florida in 2001.
Mrs. Saires holds a B.S. in Psychology, a Master’s in German Language and Literature and a second Master’s in Teaching English as a Second Language.
She is happily married to Eduardo Saires, a naturalized U.S. citizen native to Argentina.
Mrs. Saires is certified in Language Arts (6-12), English as a Second Language (K-12), Spanish (K-12), Health Science (K-12), and Physical Education (K-12).
Mrs. Saires teaches The College Board’s official Pre-AP program in her 6th, 7th, and 8th grade Language Arts classes and she also teaches Spanish in 6th – 8th grades.
