Jessica Bruchey was born and raised in Dayton, Ohio. Prior to going into education, Mrs. Bruchey was a retail store manager in the Dayton, Ohio area. After obtaining her teaching credentials in 2003, Mrs. Bruchey moved to Florida with her husband and began her teaching career at St. Joseph Catholic School in Winter Haven, where she taught Kindergarten, third grade, Pre-Kindergarten, and Language Arts Enrichment, as well as serving as Assistant Principal for over 6 years. While at SJCS, Mrs. Bruchey coached cheerleading, and served as the school’s choir director at masses. As a member of St. Joseph Church, she was a cantor.
Mrs. Bruchey currently serves on the Diocese of Orlando standards-based report card committee. She also completed the Master Teacher Program in the Diocese of Orlando in 2006. Additionally, she is a member of Kappa Delta Pi.
She has been married to her husband, Brian since 1998. They have one son, Reagan.
In January of 2015, Mrs. Bruchey was appointed principal at SJA. She is excited to begin her career as principal in such a wonderful, family-like, Catholic environment.
